Wow, a really nice looking bait. I picked up a 2005 Tremor a while back. I got the three hook version and was wondering whether removing the middle treble would have an adverse effect on the action of the bait. Any idea?
The blog is a great idea, thanks for putting it together.
I would remove the back hook . It will make it rise slightly faster, but not much. To compensate you could upsize the two hooks that are left to a 5/0. Then shrink tube the front hook so that it doesn't swing over the leader.
When you say shrink the front hook does that mean to cover a bit of the screw eye, split ring and base of the hook like you would on the back of a topwater?
