Rubber room

I have been playing around with rubber baits for a number of years. Here is the 2012 version of the "Komodo". Last year this was the "go to" bait for me. Strange weather patterns and stranger location patterns - it was Rubber time all year long!

These are slightly larger than a pounder in size and have a much different action. This is due to the width of the bait being located in the middle of the bait (like a real fish) not the at the head.

Orange you glad you looked

I was kind of in an orange mood or something. Here are a few "different" styles.
First up is a 14" twitch bait. They troll nice as well, but I weighted them off of the axis so that they twitch amazing. A lot of big fish caught on the protypes, including a 51" in the Frank Schnieder tourney.

Next up is a "TailDragger". I am working on a new tail, but until then they catch lots of fish with the tails they come with.

Last up is a 12" "Rumor". It is really hard to get a good pic of this bait for some reason. Oh well, you get the idea.  The "Rumor" runs deep if desired. I use it to fish deep coontail about 12 feet down. The front has a morticed lexan lip for rocks and for a slight wiggle. It is one of the few dive and rise baits that figure 8 great! It also has a killer "death rise" when you give it straight up pull at boat side.

back to the basement for me...

A Few "Hustlers"

A few more "Hustler" pic.  Not much to say about these. The colors are Cisco, Golden Red Horse and Citrus shad.  I hope you like.
