I have been playing around with rubber baits for a number of years. Here is the 2012 version of the "Komodo". Last year this was the "go to" bait for me. Strange weather patterns and stranger location patterns - it was Rubber time all year long!
These are slightly larger than a pounder in size and have a much different action. This is due to the width of the bait being located in the middle of the bait (like a real fish) not the at the head.
Pure awesomeness, Joe! I am in the midst of making a larger rubber bait myself, not with curly tail tho..
ReplyDeleteMichael,
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you cook up:)
I just bought a bunch of the rubber paint and upgraded my exuast system . I can't wait to paint some of them. I tried one already and it turned out pretty cool, but a little to splotchy for me. I didnt have the reducer then, I am expecting that it will flow much better once I add that to the paint.
Hello Trueglide:
ReplyDeleteI'm looking to start to create my rubber baits, but know how to start. Any link to know how to begin?
regards!!!
